The physical play of light alters images and affects our perception. Light at this time of the year is so very beautiful as the nights grow longer. Our clocks are set back and the abundance of foliage turns and eventually exposes the “November black” etchings of the trees. The Columbus Park Refectory is embraced by these trees and they frame the ensemble as we sing. Viewing ideas, artwork, and even songs in different "lights" allows for personal and spiritual possibility. We—and the music—are never the same twice. Some may go to the Divine light, for others, it is the play on light of the changing fields within.
